2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Format
This event is a pro-am with pros playing with amateur partners. Unlike previous years, where three courses were used, the field will only play two courses in 2024: Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill GC.
The 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a Signature event on the PGA Tour. It wil feature a field of 80 players.
Amateurs did not take in 2021 and the event was played without fans. That year the event featured a 36 hole cut instead of 54 holes and only used two courses (Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill).
2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Trends
Winning Score
Has been remarkably consistent of late and has ranged from -17 to -19 over the past eight years. We should expect a similar winning score again this year.
Price of Winner
We've had some big price winners here. Nick Taylor won in 2020 when starting at 150/1+. Ted Potter Jr and Vaughn Taylor were shock winners in 2016 and 2018 also.
Correlating Courses
The Travelers Championship seems to throw up a number of players who perform well at both events. The courses are not alike so this may just be a coincidence. Look for success at other coastal venues (Sony, RBC Heritage, Puntacana, Mayakoba etc).
Course Form
The past 14 champions have all posted a top 21 finish here prior to winning. Thirteen of the fourteen past champions posted a top 16 finish prior to winning. Side with strong course experience when making your AT&T Pebble Beach picks.
Course Experience
Nine of the past eleven champions had made at least four starts in this event prior to winning. The only players who hadn't? Justin Rose in 2023 and Daniel Berger in 2021. Rose had made three starts prior to his win and Berger had made two though. Playing this event before is a huge advantage.
Recent Form
You don't need to be in blistering form to win. Three of the past six champions had not posted a top 30 finish in the calendar year prior to winning. Daniel Berger won following a missed cut in 2021, as did Tom Hoge in 2022. Don't be afraid to side with course experience over recent form when making your Pebble Beach picks.
Nationality
Of the last 18 champions, only Justin Rose (2023) and Nick Taylor (2017) prevent it from being a clean sweep of American winners.
Age
We have seen a mix of ages win this event so no strong age trends identified.
Previous PGA Tour Win
There have only been three winners (Tom Hoge, D.A. Points and Aaron Oberholser) since 2003 who were winning on the PGA Tour for the first time.

2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am In-Play Advice
Tough Holes
The 18th hole at Pebble Beach was the hardest par 5 on the PGA Tour in 2020, and the par 5 1st hole at Spyglass was the 2nd hardest par 5. In general, the 6th hole at Spyglass traditionally plays the hardest and the 8th at Pebble Beach.
Birdie Holes
