GolfBetting About

Golf Betting Club is run by two brothers from Scotland, Duncan and Neil. Our passion for tour predictions and golf betting stemmed from our father, a golf journalist for many popular UK broadsheets whilst we were growing up. We spent most summers going along to events at Loch Lomond, Gleneagles, Wentworth and multiple Open Championship locations, taking advantage of the opportunity to watch as much golf as we could!

We have been betting on golf for over 20 years but the Golf Betting Club journey began in March 2020 when professional golf paused due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We used the break to compile the knowledge we had accumulated and create free golf bet tips that anyone could use.

From our years of betting, we created over 100 player profiles of the world's leading golfers. Our profiles are what gives us our edge and every year we refine, improve, and add to them. Basically, almost everything we needed to make our golf betting in play easy to understand and accessible.

As golf resumed after the break for Coronavirus, our initial website went live and we began sharing weekly tips about golf latest odds and other bits of our experience. To us, betting pre-event and betting in-play are equally as important and we provide tips for both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour. Winners in 2020 included 300/1 Jim Herman, 275/1 Martin Laird and 100/1 Brian Gay.

As you'd expect from a run of winners like that, we made a profit of 365pts for 2020. This was a Return of Investment of 76.88% and led to us being nominated for the "most profitable free tipster" award of 2020 on Twitter by Smart Betting Club.

Duncan Campbell

Duncan

I am the older brother by four years and have been betting on golf for over 20 years. I've seen most things in golf during that time but Martin Laird's 275/1 win at the Shriners in 2020 was a particularly pleasing moment, both for myself and Golf Betting Club. I'm the more stubborn brother and you'll likely hear me bemoan some of the bad breaks I've had through the years - if you're reading this Charley Hoffman I'm still bitter about you finishing birdie-eagle at the 2007 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic when I was on John Rollins for a five figure payout! I can't complain too much though, I've had more than my fair share of winners over the years. When I'm not betting on golf or making tour predictions, you'll find me spending time with my family or out on the golf course!

To keep up with Duncan, I was sneaking into bookmakers, using his driver's licence as a teenager! Here’s a free golf bet tip for you: don’t do as I did back in my youth. My most memorable win was JB Holmes winning the 2008 FBR Open, fending off a charging Phil Mickelson. I was at university at the time so money was low - I decided to gamble my pot noodle money on JB at 66/1. It wasn't my biggest win but was probably the sweetest! We've had some great moments since launching Golf Betting Club, but my personal highlight would be Brian Gay chasing down Wyndham Clark at 100/1 in-play at the 2020 Bermuda Championship. Like Duncan, I love playing golf as much as betting on it. I'm currently a 13 handicapper but determined to get to single figures!
