The D World Tour played a GolfSixes event at Centurion in 2018 but none of this week's field played in that event.

0.5pts Each Way Laurie Canter 80/1 @ Bet365 (1/4 1-5)

Laurie will be arriving full of confidence after a strong performance in Open qualifying on Monday, shooting 69 and 64 in tough conditions at Porthcawl to win by four shots. He has been producing extremely steady results on LIV lately without challenging, which will be frustrating, but he can mount a challenge at his home event, where he finished 17th on debut last year. A 3rd place finish at the Alfred Dunhill Championship last December shows what he is capable of at his best.
0.5pts Each Way David Puig 80/1 @ Bet365 (1/4 1-5)

Puig is only 21 years old and fast improving, finishing 7th last week at Valderrama, 39th at the US Open and 12th at LIV DC in his last three starts. The 7th place last week caught our eye as Valderrama isn't particularly a course which suit him being a power hitter, he should enjoy the test here and is slightly overpriced to carry his momentum through. He's another who performed well at Open qualifying, finishing 6th at West Lancs, one place outside of qualifying.
0.5pts Each Way Charl Schwartzel 125/1 @ Bet365 (1/4 1-5)

Schwartzel is the defending champion, having put up a strong performance to win the inaugural LIV event last year. His recent form has been patchy but he came through Open Qualifying earlier this week to show that his game isn't in terrible shape. He's certainly worth taking at triple figure odds to reclaim his title this week. If you don't have Skybet access take the 125/1 for 1/5 1-5 each way places at Skybet or Bet Victor.

Back or Lay The Favourite?

Cam Smith is the 1/2 favourite but he wasn't happy with his game in round two and we're reluctant to back him at such a price. That said, Smith converted a 36 hole lead when winning LIV Chicago and has converted winning opportunities at the very highest level. Smith should see this out but he's likely to trade at a bigger price in running and he's not a bet at the current odds.

In-Play LIV Golf London Bets We Considered

Louis Oosthuizen and Patrick Reed showed once again that low rounds are possible at Centurion and we expect at least one of the chasers to make a run at Smith in the final round. Patrick Reed was bogey free in round two and he certainly made appeal at 16/1.

Back or Lay The Favourite?

Cam Smith is a heavy favourite now and rightly so after a bogey free 64. Having not finished worse than 12th in his last seven starts, including the US Open and PGA, a big performance was due and he made Centurion Golf Club look easy yesterday. We are hesitant to take Smith on given his ability to close golf tournaments when he has the chance - four wins in 2022 is all the evidence you need.

In-Play LIV Golf London Bets We Considered

With Smith going to be tough to beat, Leishman and Gooch don't make much appeal at single figures and we are instead looking at each way options further down the market.

Round 2 Bet

1pt Each Way Branden Grace 22/1 @ Coral/Ladbrokes (1/4 1-4)

Grace is off to nice start, three under par in tied 7th place and is seeking to improve on his 3rd place finish here last year. He will be hoping to return to form after a mediocre week in Spain, but before that he had posted a 2nd in DC and 3rd in Tulsa in his previous two starts. Grace was on our shortlist pre-event but the price felt just a little short but we are happy to go in now at anything over 20/1.
