"Designed by Swedish sports hero Sven Tumba in 1981, Ullna is situated on the banks of Lake Ullna. It is located 20 minutes north of Stockholm and offers the perfect balance among soft shaped hills and ever-present streams – a mix of Tumba’s original design and the renovation overseen by Jack Nicklaus in June 2013.
Ullna previously hosted the Scandinavian Enterprise Open from 1983–1987, featuring many of the biggest stars from the European Tour (now DP World Tour), including past champions Sam Torrance (1983) and Ian Woosnam (1984).
The stunning venue is no stranger to some of the biggest names in the world of golf walking its fairways, with Annika Sörenstam winning the HP Open on the Ladies European Tour 2004 and Tiger Woods playing as part of the SAS Invitational team competition between 1998-2001. It also hosted the 1988 Eisenhower Trophy."
"TOGETHER WITH GOLF LEGEND JACK NICKLAUS, SVEN TUMBA HAS CREATED ONE OF SWEDEN’S MOST BEAUTIFUL AND BEST GOLF COURSES.
A design in perfect balance among softly shaped hills and ever-present streams. At least one enticing challenge characterises each hole. From tee to green, your golfing skills are tested again and again. A brave approach can be costly but in the end the dedicated golfer is always richly rewarded. If not by the beauty of the course and the beautiful parkland, then by the true joy of playing that has always been Ullna’s hallmark.
Every hole presents a challenge. From tee to green your golf skills are tested, over and over again. However, at Ullna the devoted golfer is rewarded both by the scenic experience, and the sheer pleasure of playing this icon course."

2023 Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Round 3 Summary
Dale Whitnell leads by four shots after following up his second round 61 with a round of 70.
2023 Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Round 4 Weather
Sunny. Wind 5-9mph.
Back or Lay The Favourite?
Whitnell is seeking his first DP World Tour victory and there are likely to be some nerves as he tees it up in round four.
There is no getting away from the fact he's been the outstanding player so far this week and he will never have a better chance to notch that elusive first win. However, his performances in contention certainly leave a lot to be desired and he's a tempting lay.
Whitnell's sole Challenge Tour win came from off the pace, a final round 63 moving him from seventh to first. Starting from the Irish Open in July 2021, Whitnell has been in the top 10 going into the final round on seven occasions. On all seven occasions his final position has worsened. We certainly don't expect Whitnell to win by a wide margin tomorrow and if one of the chasing pack could muster a round of 63 or 64, things may well get interesting!
In-Play Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Bets We Considered
Yannik Paul made appeal given the potential for Whitnell to falter. However, we have pre-event each way interest with Angel Hidalgo and Madelene Sagstrom and we are content to cheer them on.

2023 Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Round 2 Summary
Dale Whitnell produced an incredible performance, shooting a 61 to take a SIX shot lead into the weekend! Conditions didn't play out as expected, with the wind being fairly consistent all day.
2023 Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Round 3 Weather
Mostly sunny. Wind 5-10mph.
Back or Lay The Favourite?
With a six shot lead, Whitnell is appropriately priced at 4/5 and there is only three players within TEN shots of him. Whitnell is yet to win on tour and has two DP World Tour winners as his nearest challengers. He is bound to be dreaming of lifting the trophy tonight and for that reason it wouldn't surprise to see one of Paul or Ramsay catch him but it looks a big ask for the others. It looks like an event best left alone for now.
In-Play Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Bets We Considered
With two of our pre-event bets in the top 20, it looks like we are playing for places this week and no one caught our eye in the outright market given the leaderboard. We may add a match bet if anything catches our eye, once pairings are released.

2023 Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Round 1 Summary
Niklas Norgaard and Yannik Paul made the most of scoreable conditions to lead the field on day one. Both players were in the morning wave and only Trichat Cheenglab played in the afternoon out of the top six.
Notable Round 1 Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Quotes
"I feel like it got colder as the day got started. It was really warm on like the third and fourth hole, not too windy. But then all of a sudden it got windier and the clouds came in. So, I think it played a bit trickier on the back nine. " Yannik Paul
"I hurt my back on Monday, so I come up here and I haven’t practised. I haven’t played the course, I just went out there with pretty much no expectations at all and it worked today. " Niklas Norgaard
2023 Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Round 2 Weather
Mostly sunny and breezy PM. Wind 10-15mph.
Back or Lay The Favourite?
Yannik Paul has to be respected as 9/2 favourite having won in Mallorca last year and two 2nd places in 2023. However, the forecast looks to favour the morning starters tomorrow so we expect tings to bunch up a bit and there's no temptation to take Paul at that price.
In-Play Volvo Scandinavian Mixed Bets We Considered
It is tempting to top up on our pre-event bets - Julien Guerrier (55/1) and Angel Hidalgo (200/1) who are nicely placed with morning starts tomorrow. The 45/1 available at Skybet for Angel Hidalgo is a bet we would take if you have access.
