Laguna National Player Quotes
The following are quotes relating to the Masters course. However, several are useful in terms of humidity and potential wind conditions. We will update with quotes relating to the Classic course when these become available.
“I think this is a very good course. It was so different today after the wind on the two practice days. Today was playing shorter. It was playing good for scoring. If the wind picks up scores won’t be as low.” Carlos Rodiles, 2002
“I have to say that the heat eventually got to me a little bit,” he said. “I felt a little bit tired towards the end and it was tough.” Ernie Els, 2003
"It is blustery out there and that is the only thing that is really keeping you cool......The course is tough because if you miss a fairway or a green, you are in trouble.” Mark Foster, 2005
The following are quotes relating to the Classic course.
"Very narrow fairways and Just have to play solid tee shot. If you're good off the tee you'll be great this week I think." Haotong Li, 2023

2024 Porsche Singapore Classic Round 3 Conditions
The wind wasn't as strong as in round two which led to slightly lower scoring.
2024 Porsche Singapore Classic Round 4 Weather Bias?
Players will once again go out in three balls off the first and tenth tees so only two hours separates the first and last groups off. The wind will blow 6-8mph, so scoring should be good
Round 3 Outright Market Summary
It looked like our 125/1 pre-event selection, Sam Bairstow, would be the favourite going into the final round as he stood on the thirteenth tee with a three stroke lead. However, he played his final six holes in two over par, looking far from convincing.
Bairstow's collapse opened the door for David Micheluzzi and the Aussie is priced up at 4/1 to convert his lead and win for the first time on the DP World Tour. A four time winner on the Australian Tour, including three wins last year, the 27 year old is no stranger to converting winning opportunities. However, all of his four wins have come when off the pace and there remains a question mark as to how he will fare leading going into the final round. We saw Richard Mansell fall down the leaderboard in round three when holding the halfway lead and Micheluzzi will do well to avoid a similar fate.
Ockie Strydom won this event last year when trailing by four shots going into the final round and we aren't ruling out anyone who is currently eight under par or better.

Sebastian Soderberg OVER 4.5 BIRDIES IN ROUND 4 - 10/11 @ Bet365
Soderberg is normally a reliable birdie machine, ranking 11th this season for birdies and 10th last year on the DP World Tour. He made five birdies in round one and posted six birdies in each of the last two rounds to comfortably land this bet on all three days so far this week. With conditions set to be conducive to low scoring, it looks a fair price that he once again records five birdies in round four.

2024 Porsche Singapore Classic Round 2 Conditions
The wind made conditions tricky all day and aside from Andy Sullivan's course record equalling 63 nobody else bettered a score of 67.
2024 Porsche Singapore Classic Round 3 Weather Bias?
Players will go out in three balls and off the first and tenth tees so only two hours separates the first and last groups off. The wind will blow 6-12mph, picking up as the day goes on.
Round 3 Outright Market Summary
Richard Mansell and Mathieu Pavon share favouritism at 13/2 but we make Pavon clear favourite given his recent exploits on the PGA Tour. A win at the Farmers Insurance Open followed up a win on the DP World Tour at the Open de Espana in November and his two wins trump Mansell's relatively weak performances when in contention to date.
Whilst we certainly respect Pavon's chances, this is an event which remains wide open. With 26 players within four shots of the lead and last year's winner, Ockie Strydom, having come from behind to win, we're in no rush to take singe figure odds on Pavon just yet.
Eye Catching Niche Market Prices
Paul Casey to beat Rasmus Hojgaard (Tournament match up) - 13/8 @ 888sport
Hojgaard was ragged in round two and did well to shoot a round of 70. In contrast, Casey's round of 70 could easily have been a few shots lower had the putter co-operated. Casey is only one shot behind with 36 holes to go and looks a shade of value at 13/8 to take care of the young Dane over the weekend.

2024 Porsche Singapore Classic Round 1 Conditions
Not much breeze early on but the wind picked up in the afternoon to a one or two club wind. Six of the top eight on the leaderboard played in the morning.
2024 Porsche Singapore Classic Round 2 Weather Bias?
Similar to round one, the wind will pick up in the afternoon giving morning starters a slight advantage.
Round 2 Outright Market Summary
Jordan Smith is the 5/1 favourite following his opening round of 64. Smith posted a top 20 finish in this event last year and came into the week on the back of a runner up finish at the Jonssons Workwear Open two weeks ago. Inside the top six for driving accuracy and greens in regulation for round one, he looks to be the justifiable favourite.
Smith would have been in our thoughts ahead of round two were it not for an afternoon tee time. Conditions are forecast to be slightly trickier in the afternoon and it may be more advantageous to consider backing him after tomorrow's round has been completed.

Tom McKibbin to MISS THE CUT - 9/4 @ Bet365
Television commentators suggested McKibbin was suffering from tonsilitis this week and he sits right on the cut line at one under par at the moment. He will have the opportuity to post a score in the easier morning conditions but he's potentially worth taking on for a small stake if he is struggling physically.
