Winning Profile
Adrian Otaegui was an experienced DP Tour player who had also won in 2020. Matt Fitzpatrick was also well established before his win in 2021. John Catlin (2020), Bezuidenhout (2019) and Johnston (2016) won their maiden European Tour titles here but had shown form earlier in the year. Garcia was ranked in the top 30 of the world for his two most recent wins. However, all of this should be treated with caution as we use a new venue this week.

2023 Andalucia Masters Round 3 Summary
As we hinted at in yesterday's blog, we have seen a lot of change in the leaderboard, with a pair of 65's from Mathhias Schmid and Jeff Winther firing them into a two shot lead. As he did on Friday, Adrian Otaegui finished strong to keep himself within touching distance, two back.
2023 Andalucia Masters Round 4 Weather
Mainly cloudy and breezy with PM scattered showers developing. Wind 10-20mph.
Back or Lay The Favourite?
Our 75/1 in-play pick Matthias Schmid is now 21/10 favourite with Jeff Winther just behind at 9/4. It's hard to separate the pair after how they performed today but Schmid is aiming to win his first professional title whilst Winther won in Mallorca back in 2021. With the tee times moved forward due to an incoming storm, it's possible we see drama tomorrow and looks all to play for.
In-Play Andalucia Masters Bets We Considered
Adrian Meronk looks like the dangerman four back of the leaders and he tempted us most at 14/1 with Skybet. He won the Irish Open on a windy final round last year and has backed it up with an Italian Open win earlier this year. He has improved every day with rounds of 72, 68 and 66. However, Schmid and Winther are playing great golf and it's likely one of them puts a good round together. We will enjoy the final round cheering on Schmid to get his first professional win.

2023 Andalucia Masters Round 2 Summary
Another windy day kept the scores down and there are now 43 players within six shots of the lead. It was a good day for our in-play picks, Daniel Hillier and Matthias Schwab who made big moves up the leaderboard. Home favourite Adrian Otaegui finished fast to join the leader at nine under par.
2023 Andalucia Masters Round 3 Weather
Sunny with calmer conditions. Wind 6-8mph.
Back or Lay The Favourite?
Adrian Otaegui survived the tougher afternoon draw today and is now a worthy 4/1 favourite. He is a comfortable front runner as he proved last year at Valderrama and is putting beautifully, ranking 3rd on the greens. As conditions become scoreable tomorrow, it may just suit him, but there is a lot players within touching distance and we could see great movement at the front of the leaderboard.
In-Play Andalucia Masters Bets We Considered
We are in a strong position with three players inside the top 13 and we rate Otaegui as a front runner so we're happy enough to see what round three brings. The price we like the best this evening is Hojgaard at 25/1. He is four back and playing very well tee to green, the putter has held him back so far but he looks a big threat if it heats up over the weekend.

2023 Andalucia Masters Round 1 Summary
The wind picked up considerably from mid-morning onwards and as a result the top of the leaderboard is dominated by those who played in the morning wave. Jason Scrivener and Louis De Jager the only two players to break 70 from those playing in the afternoon (Note - Jeong Weon Ko is yet to finish his first round and is currently four under par).
2023 Andalucia Masters Round 2 Weather
Sunny intervals throughout the day. Wind 16-20mph.
Back or Lay The Favourite?
Adrian Otaegui is the 13/2 favourite and it's a price that is hard to argue with. The defending champion put on an impressive display, going bogey free and looking comfortable throughout. He cut a confident figure in his post round press interview and he's the man to beat in our eyes.
The one negative is that Otaegui must play in the afternoon tomorrow. The wind is forecast to be slightly stronger for those players and that may be just enough to put us off the Spaniard.
In-Play Andalucia Masters Bets We Considered
Clement Sordet is available at 150/1 with Unibet/Bet MGM but that price appears to be an outlier and all other bookmakers have gone 100/1. We wouldn't put anyone off a small bet at 150/1 if you can get it but the 100/1 makes less appeal given he has an afternoon tee time.
