BIO

Jayden enjoyed a stellar amateur career before turning pro but it was his performance in a professional event that first caught our eye.  A 6th place finish at the 2020 South African Open whilst still an amateur was a impressive performance and he's backed that up with further good finishes on the Sunshine Tour and co-sanctioned events.  A 2nd place finish at the Alfred Dunhill Championship at the end of 2020 was further evidence of the talent this young man has.

Jayden is signed to Niall Horan's Modest! Management company alongside Christiaan Bezuidenhout.  Expect him to develop further in 2022.

Significant info

Jayden only turned pro in 2020.  He also turned 20 in March 2021.

Significant Quotes

May 2020
"If you're in this sport and really want to make it as a pro, everyone has to have the goal of becoming the No.1 golfer in the world. That's why I'm here and that's why I'm playing the sport. To get to No.1 in the world is the goal, that's what I want, and that's what I'm working towards daily."

2020 South African Open
“Jayden's got this wonderful ball flight off the tee with a little cut. A lot of the guys hit high draws for more distance, but what Jayden has is pure class. We'll be seeing him right at the top in the future.” Louis Oosthuizen on Jayden Schaper.
