Cam turned pro in 2016 and has progressed with relative ease through the ranks to become a PGA Tour winner in 2021. A past winner of the Australian Open and a winner on the Korn Ferry Tour, he'll surely win multiple times on the PGA Tour.
Interestingly, he can swing the club very well left handed as well as right handed. This YouTube video is mesmering!
Pressure Performance Analysis
Cameron has clearly become more comfortable with being in contention on the PGA Tour and his Golf Betting Club Pressure Performance Rating is set to ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Two of his wins have been from six shots back so he can go low on the final day.
✅ Cameron was excellent in contention at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He was one shot back going into the final round and shot a 67 to make a three man playoff. A par at the 5th playoff hole was enough to see him take the win.
✅ Three shots behind at The American Express, Cameron shot a final round 64 to finish 3rd (started the day in 8th)
❌ Joint leader at the Sanderson Farms Championship, a poor final round of 72 (2nd worst score of anyone in the top 25) saw him drop to 6th.
❌ Sixth going into the final round at the 3M Open, Cameron would drop back to 12th after a round of 68.
✅ Cameron won the Nashville Golf Open, firing a 64 to overturn a 6 shot deficit.
All three of Cameron's career wins have come immediately after a missed cut. Don't be afraid to back him after a recent missed cut.
Events to back Davis
Cameron has had two solid finishes at the 3M Open, hving finished 12th in 2020 and 28th last year. He could well go close in 2022.
Cam is 1-0 for playoffs.
2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic
"I wouldn't say necessarily it's a place that fit my eye straightaway, but this year I've kind of figured out a slightly different way to play the golf course and it's going pretty well so far."
2021 The American Express
For me, looking at the leaderboard and seeing myself up there usually leads to tension and getting a little ahead of myself. But today I saw it, I saw I was still behind so I thought, well if I did glimpse it would be nice to see my name up the top, but the fact that I was still behind, I had to keep pressing. So it wasn't really that much of a learning curve if anything it's just nice to see that the work that I'm putting in turns into good shots at good times.
2020 Sanderson Farms Championship
"I was six back (at the Australian Open). I'd been in the lead to start the tournament and I shot 8-under in the first round and then just kind of slowly dropped back to a position where I didn't even think I was a chance anymore, and to be honest I didn't see a leaderboard all day. Every time I looked at it it was on the second page, and I was just like, if I'm having a great round I'm sure someone else up there has probably gone low, as well, but it wasn't an easy day, and I didn't find out until after I finished to be honest.
