2025 Mauritius Open Stats Analysis
Driving Accuracy was a big quality for the top ten finishers in 2023. Five of the top ten in 2023 were inside the top 28 for Driving Accuracy on the DPWT in 2023. The top two, Louis Oosthuizen and Laurie Canter, weren't included in those stats for 2023 given their involvement with LIV but we know they are strong drivers of the ball. Two others were Sunshine Tour players and so didn't feature on the DPWT rankings and the other player was Sebastian Soderberg, who ranked 52nd in Driving Accuracy.

The 16th hole was the hardest but the 9th, 10th and 11th holes were the next hardest and represent a tough stretch of the course.
Birdie Holes
The five par fives along with the short par fours (6th and 13th) played as the only under par holes in 2023.
2025 Mauritius Open Course Quotes
“I've lost three balls in six holes during my practice round.......The greens are severe” Tom Lewis, 2023
“You see a lot of humps and it is definitely a links design. It is really cool, you need to get to know it a little but that is typical for a links course. There are different ways to play it. I know my way around it a little bit which helps. The views that you will see on TV are like nothing you will ever have seen before. Proper shot making is required here as well." Marcel Siem, 2023
