2024 Mauritius Open Course Quotes
“From what I have heard, all the courses in Mauritius are pretty similar. It is pretty open off the tee but the wind is very strong this week so you are going to have to precise with the second shot, put the ball in the right place. You don’t want to give yourself a chip downwind, downhill [as] it is going to be really hard. Strategy is going to be very key. I heard a lot of the greens are undulating.” Antoine Rozner, 2022
“It looks very linksy, no trees, a lot of run-offs with hills and bumps. The grass is very good. I think the weather is going to be the main contributing factor to scoring so depending on what the weather is like it will have a heavy impact on what the guys shoot." Oliver Bekker, 2022

2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 3 Conditions
The wind was consistent throughout the day but a couple of players managed to card a 66 and there was also a 65 by our 125/1 Clement Sordet.
2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 4 Weather Bias?
A consistent 12-15mph wind throughout, no distinct advantage.
2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 4 Outright Market Summary
Eddie Pepperell is now narrow 5/2 favourite over Dylan Naidoo at 3/1.
Naidoo played great today however he missed a short 3ft par putt on the last and it could be a sign of things to come tomorrow. He is untested in this position on the DP World Tour. Pepperell is a two time winner on the DP World Tour but has struggled of late and was unable to retain his playing privileges at Q School last month. He looked rather edgy on his closing holes today and we should expect him to find it tough tomorrow. Everything considered, this looks wide open and we could see a winner from as far as six shots back.

2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 2 Conditions
The wind was consistent throughout the day, with scores once again ranging from the mid 60s to the 80s.
2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 3 Weather Bias?
A consistent 12-15mph wind throughout, no distinct advantage.
2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 3 Outright Market Summary
Hamish Brown edges Eddie Pepperell in the betting but there isn't too much in it with odds available of 5/1 and 6/1 respectively.
Brown was a two time winner on Tour on the Challenge Tour this year and at least has some recent contention experience, even if he has yet to make the step up to winning on the DP World Tour. In contrast, Pepperell is a two time winner on the DP World Tour but has struggled of late and was unable to retain his playing privileges at Q School last month. Brown is marginally preferred given he has the security of a Tour card.

2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 1 Conditions
The wind picked up for the afternoon starters. A draw bias emerged as a result.
2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 2 Weather Bias?
The wind looks consistent all day but we should maybe consider the greens may have been better in the morning today and the same may happen tomorrow.
2024 Mauritius Open Open Round 2 Outright Market Summary
Eddie Pepperell and Jayden Schaper head the market at 9/1 and although both should be respected, it shouldn't hold us back taking them on. Pepperell is winless since 2018 and didn't manage a top 10 in the whole of 2024. He is well suited to the wind but will be playing under a lot of pressure having lost his tour card. Schaper is a winner in waiting but it has to be noted he is still without a professional victory. Rozner was eight shots back after round one in the last edition held at this course and we shouldn't rule out anyone that far back at the moment.
