Lefty Garrick is one of an emerging crop of South African youngsters who look set to rise to the top of the game. Having turned pro in early 2019, it didn't take him long to win, as he won in May on the Big Easy Tour and then again in June on the Sunshine Tour. Better was to follow in 2020 as he won the Tour Championship on the Sunshine Tour before securing his breakthrough win on the European Tour at the Open de Portugal.
The victory in Portugal gave him full European Tour status and he'll be looking to win again on the European Tour in 2021. Keep an eye on Garrick.
